Jameson Named MD/PM Drive, Jazz88/Minneapolis

Hailing from North Minneapolis, Jameson’s broadcasting career began as a child on Mostly Jazz on 90.3 KFAI/Minneapolis, which was established in 1993 by her great grandmother, Patricia Walton, and sustained by her grandfather, Bill Cottman.
No stranger to KBEM, Jameson previously participated in the Jazz at MPS program at Jazz88 as student at Southwest High School, voice-tracking regular broadcasts and announcing during live recordings of school concerts, including her own jazz combo.
A Minneapolis College alum, Jameson previously served as a staff member of Northside Residents Redevelopment Council, while her experience in program coordination and youth education was refined at community radio station 98.9 KRSM-LP/Minneapolis. Jameson also learned public art curation & engagement with institutions including West Broadway Coalition, Public Functionary, The Minneapolis Institute of Arts and Walker Art Center. This is a homegrown local hire Jazz88 is proud to celebrate.
