WQIK Welcomes Casey Carter & Heath West

Both are longtime iHeart veterans — Carter has been with the company since 2012 and now adds WQIK to her programming portfolio alongside her current role as PD of 101.1 WNOE/New Orleans. She reports to Rick Everett, SVP Of Programming for iHeartMedia Jacksonville, who said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Casey to the WQIK team and we look forward to her bringing new ideas, energy and perspectives that will spark exciting growth and great collaboration.”

Carter succeeds Scot “Froggy” Langley, who was named PD of WQIK in January 2023, and now steps down to focus on his longtime role as a cast member with Elvis Duran & The Morning Show and co-host of WQIK’s The Big Show in morning drive.
Heath West will annex afternoon drive on WQIK while retaining his current role as Program Director of sister WAVW (Wave 92.7)/Ft. Pierce as he has since 1999. West said, “As a Florida native, the WQIK call letters are legendary, and I am honored to take on the afternoon show on one of iHeart’s premiere Country brands.”
