Exec. Action At Big Machine/Nashville Harbor

• Big Machine Records/Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment announces four new hires as the label continues to expand its team following its reacquisition — (l-r): Jay Cruze returns to the label as National Director, Promotion & Marketing, joined by Carly Leach, who returns as Coordinator, Promotion & Marketing, and Christina Hunt as Manager, Digital Marketing. New to the team is Claudia Deters, who joins as Label Coordinator/Executive Assistant to President & CEO Jimmy Harnen.

Cruze previously served as Nat’l Director of Radio Strategy for Blue Highway Records. In his new role as Nat’l Director, Promotion & Marketing, he will oversee day-to-day chart objectives, single strategy and additional national promotion responsibilities for the label’s radio releases, reporting to Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment SVP Ryan Dokke.

Leach, a former Big Machine Label Group intern, now returns full-time as Coordinator, Promotion & Marketing, where she will collaborate with Dokke, Cruze and the radio team on weekly tracking reports, creative requests and field support for Senior Directors.

Hunt, who previously served as Label Coordinator & Executive Assistant, is now Manager, Digital Marketing, where she will support various digital and social initiatives across the label’s roster, and stepping into Hunt’s former role as Label Coordinator/Executive Assistant to President and CEO Jimmy Harnen, Deters will manage administrative duties, scheduling and coordination for Harnen, while supporting various projects across the label’s roster.

“As the Big Machine Records/Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment team continues to charge forward, I’m very proud to announce these additions and promotions,” said Founder & Chairman Scott Borchetta. “They are ‘Machinists’ through and through, and their ferocious passion is contagious.”

• These appointments reflect the label’s continued growth as it celebrates its 20th year and follows the launch of Borchetta Entertainment Group‘s management division, a full-service venture focused on artist development, touring strategy, brand partnerships and long-term career growth. The company has already signed GRAMMY, ACM, CMA, and CMT Award-winning Country artist Carly Pearce, with Mike Blong, formerly of Starstruck Entertainment, joining as manager. The expansion comes after Borchetta’s reacquisition of Big Machine Records, with both entities working closely to deliver a more integrated, artist-focused approach.
