Shawn Comes Home To WRNB

• Urban One proudly announces comedian and radio personality Michael Shawn is returning to 100.3 WRNB/Philadelphia to host two weekend shows — Saturdays from 3-6pm and Sundays from 4-7pm, starting this very weekend.

This marks Shawn’s highly anticipated return to Philadelphia radio, where he originally made his mark. From 2000 to 2008, he hosted the popular Michael Shawn & the Takeover Legends night show on the former 100.3 The Beat. Since then, Shawn has hosting radio shows in Dallas and New York, while also building his presence as a stand-up comedian and as a passionate professional public speaker helping those battling drug and alcohol abuse to overcome addiction.

I remember listening to Michael Shawn every day and being drawn in by his personality, creativity, and ability to truly connect with the audience. We’re excited to welcome him back to Urban One Philadelphia and his new home on WRNB.”
