KSE Executive Action

• Denver-based Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) announced the hire of two established sports executives for newly reimagined leadership positions within one of the world’s leading ownership, entertainment, and management groups — Lacy Ekert has been named Chief Commercial Officer, beginning May 1, and Curran Raclin recently stepped into the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Strategy & Analytics.

Ekert (left) joins KSE from the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals, where she was Chief Partnership Officer. Her previous experience includes roles as VP of Global Partnership Development at BSE Global — owner of the Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, and Barclays Center; and Director of Global Partnerships for Topgolf Entertainment Group.

In her new KSE role, Ekert will lead all sponsorship, naming rights, and commercial partnership activity for the Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Rapids (MLS), and Colorado Mammoth (NLL), and oversee media sales integration for Altitude Sports and radio assets.

Raclin (right) has spent more than seven years at the NHL in a series of expanding roles, most recently as Senior Vice President, Fan Engagement, Analytics & Research. His 20+ years of experience in strategy and analytics also includes stints with the Madison Square Garden Company, Turnkey Sports & Entertainment, and the Boston Red Sox. Raclin will now be responsible for overseeing data, business analytics, and business technology.
