• Erik Andersen has been promoted to Vice President of Publicity at Missing Piece Group, a full-service publicity and marketing agency and record label, with offices in Jersey City, NJ and Nashville.

Under his new role, Andersen will lead the publicity team, oversee PR efforts company-wide, as well as continue to assist in the overall development and growth of Missing Piece Group,

“Erik has been a crucial part of our team at Missing Piece since his start at the company 13 years ago,” says Missing Piece CEO/Founder Michael Krumper. “His steadfast, extraordinarily thorough efforts have led to breakthroughs for developing artists and deserved coverage for living legends. Erik’s clarity of vision and guidance of staff has been essential, and I look forward to his support as Missing Piece continues to grow.”

Alongside GM Joe Sivick, Andersen has held management roles within the PR team for nearly a decade, playing a key role in company-wide strategy. Since joining Missing Piece in 2013, Andersen has led press initiatives across a variety of projects. Some of his recent campaigns include Herb Alpert, Kip Moore, The Lone Bellow, The Happy Fits, Liam St. John, The Brook & The Bluff, Langhorne Slim, Lisa Loeb, and NPR‘s Mountain Stage, among many others.
