Executive Action At TuneCore
• TuneCore, the leading independent development partner for self-releasing artists — part of Believe, the Paris-based global artist development company — announced the expansion of the company’s international leadership team, elevating Basile Beaugendre to Regional Head of TuneCore, Europe, and Cyrus Chen to Regional Head of TuneCore, APAC.
Beaugendre (left) has served as Head of TuneCore, France, since 2019, where he helped transform TuneCore France into TuneCore’s second largest business unit worldwide. Now, as Regional Head of TuneCore, Europe, Beaugendre will oversee the European Heads of TuneCore team spanning France, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
Chen (right) has served as Head of TuneCore, Southeast Asia, since 2020. As Regional Head of TuneCore, APAC, he will now be responsible for the strategy, operations, and coordination of all local teams in the region including India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, and Thailand, while also driving the expansion of TuneCore’s presence into new APAC territories outside of Southeast Asia.

Chen remarked, “We’ve forecasted internally that Asia will become the world’s largest music market by 2030. The opportunity ahead is immense, and I’m deeply motivated to lead TuneCore’s efforts in ensuring that independent artists across the region have the tools, support, and platform to be part of that growth.”
Both gentlemen report to TuneCore Chief Business Officer Brian Miller, who commented, “In the last year, more than 75% of new releases through TuneCore have come from outside of the United States, and Basile and Cyrus have each been invaluable in helping independent artists looking to develop long-term careers through TuneCore. As we continue to invest in opportunities to support artists around the world, Basile and Cyrus are best suited to oversee our overall growth strategy and guide our local teams to make an impact for our artists.”
