Dave Jackson Inherits WKXJ/Chattanooga

Dave Jackson‘s programming portfolio just got a tad larger, as he acquires Brand Manager duties for Audacy Top 40 WKXJ (105.5 Kiss FM)/Chattanooga, TN. He will continue to serve as the Brand Manager for WFBC (B93.7), The Block (WFBC-HD2), and Magic Upstate (WFBC-HD4)/Greenville, SC.

“Dave’s partnership with Dex and Barbie T at B93.7 and his success in the south make him the perfect person for 105.5 Kiss FM,” said Molly Cruz, Audacy Top 40 Format VP. “We’re looking forward to him bringing his creative energy, future-forward passion for tech and strong leadership experience to the station.”

Jackson launched his radio career in 1999 as a mixer and producer for B93.7/Greenville, later moving to WIBT/Charlotte. After programming several stations at Cox Media Group and SummitMedia in Greenville, Jackson returned to B93.7 in 2014 as Brand Manager. He has since taken on additional leadership roles, including serving as Director of Operations.

“105.5 Kiss FM already has a strong legacy in Chattanooga, and I’m excited to help shape what comes next,” said Jackson. “I’m looking forward to working with our talented local team to build on what’s already connected, while finding new ways to make the station an even bigger part of their daily lives. The focus is simple — keep Kiss FM relevant and deeply rooted in the community.”

WKXJ was most recently under the oversight of Regional Brand Manager Chris “DECiPHA” Hernandez, who left the company earlier this week.
