Tee Gentry Wraps Up An Amazing Career

• Beasley Media Group announced the July 31 retirement of Tee Gentry, VP of Brand Strategies and Operations Manager for the company’s Augusta, GA radio group, and PD/afternoon talent for WKXC (Kicks 99), with oversight of WKML/Fayetteville, concluding a distinguished 30-year career with Beasley that spanned multiple markets and leadership positions. Post-retirement, Gentry will continue to work with the Augusta cluster in a consulting capacity.

As part of the transition, Kicks 99 midday talent Chris O’Kelley will serve as interim PD, while morning co-host Cody will expand her on-air responsibilities by taking over Gentry’s former afternoon drive.

We also look forward to Chris O’Kelley leading Kicks 99 on an interim basis while Cody steps into afternoons. Together, they bring tremendous experience, energy and familiarity that will ensure continued success for the station.”
