Garth Tunes Out Of TuneIn Deal

• Garth Brooks and TuneIn announced the conclusion of their three-year partnership with Brooks’ Sevens Network that was originally envisioned to include seven streaming channels (which explains the name), but ended up launching three — The BIG 615, Tailgate Radio, and The Garth Channel.

The end of the Sevens Network/TuneIn venture follows TuneIn’s Dec. 2025 acquisition by the Montreal-based Stingray Group Inc. “The Stingray family has been fantastic in the transition along with TuneIn’s people,” Brooks said in a statement. “We couldn’t be happier with the three years we have spent with them and wish them well on their future endeavors and hope we cross paths in the future.”

As a result of this decision, The Garth Channel and Tailgate Radio signed off on Tuesday, Sept. 22, while The BIG 615 will continue streaming through the end of 2026 under the TuneIn platform, minus any affiliation with Garth Brooks or The Sevens Network.

So far no one is commenting on the status of BIG 615 personality Storme Warren and his producer Joe Wills, Program Director Bob Richards, Music Director Monta Vaden, and air talent Blake Carter.

Garth says stay tuned for news on new broadcast and multimedia initiatives TBA in the coming months.
