New Zip Codes For Bret Mega Show
• Moving trucks have been booked for half of the cast of Audacy’s The Bret Mega Show, as it was announced that Bret Mega, co-host Anna “AB” Bohlmann, Kevin Berghoff, and Hannah Gibbs, currently based at KYKY (Y98)/St. Louis — and carried on Hot AC sisters WTDY (The New 96.5)/Philadelphia, KZPT (99.7 The Point)/Kansas City and KFBZ (105.3 The Buzz)/Wichita, KS — will soon be divided between two markets. Audacy’s St. Louis group is in process of being sold to Hoffmann.
An Instagram post states, “Bret and AB are moving to a new city and will be doing the show from there! Hannah and Kevin are staying right here in St. Louis to keep you up to date on all things local every morning!” It is believed that Mega and AB will be relocating to Atlanta and installing the show on WSTR (Star 94), which has been without a permanent wake-up show since the August departure of Kevin Avery and Taylor Scott. Mega is already familiar with the Atlanta market, having previously co-hosted mornings with former partner Scotty Kay on iHeartMedia Top 40 WWPW (Power 96.1) until February 2016.
The post continues, “The Bret Mega Show will still air on Y98, it will just look a little different. One thing isn’t changing: we’re all still connected, still working together, and still here for YOU. A HUGE thank you to all of our listeners who have made this possible. Because of YOU, we’ve been given this incredible opportunity, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We can’t wait to share what’s next with you! This is just the beginning…” Pictured, (l-r): Berghoff, Mega, Gibbs, and Bohlmann.
