Izzy Mitchell Now Streaming In NH & VT
• Respected New England broadcasters Binnie Media and Vox AM/FM build on their unique “talent exchange program” with the announcement that Izzy Mitchell, PD/afternoon host on Vox AM/FM Top 40 WXXX (95 Triple X)/Burlington, VT is now lending her on-air talents to Binnie Top 40 105.5 WJYY/Concord NH as host of “Workday Escape with Izzy,” weekdays from 10am-3pm.
The move balances out the current arrangement at 95 Triple X, where WJYY PD/afternoon host Marissa “Riss” Leyland tracks middays (as “Rizzo“). “We’re so excited to welcome Izzy to the JYY family!” said Leyland (below, left). “Izzy brings fresh energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for radio that makes her a perfect fit for our station.”
Leyland added, “Having the opportunity to work together across both JYY and 95 Triple X makes this addition even more exciting. As we continue to grow and evolve JYY, we’re focused on bringing our listeners great music, engaging personalities, and a station that feels connected to their everyday lives. I know Izzy is going to be a fantastic addition to our lineup!”
The addition of Izzy comes as longtime JYY personality Harrison Hinman, who joined the station shortly after graduating from high school, steps back to focus on his live shows on Country sister WNHW (93.3 The Wolf)/Concord and Vermont simulcast duo WXLF/WZLF (95.3 & 107.1 The Wolf). He will continue to do weekends and fill-in.
“Harrison has been part of the JYY family for nearly a decade, and we’re incredibly grateful for the energy, dedication, and personality he’s brought to our airwaves over the years,” Leyland said. “He’s genuinely become like a little brother of mine.”
