Look For The Bear Necessities
Bonneville’s heritage AC KOSI 101.1/Denver has joined forces with Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children to launch a terrific new initiative: The “KOSI Teddy Bear Patrol” is now up and running and ready to serve the community. KOSI is now encouraging its generous listeners to donate a new teddy bear at any Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children location around Denver. On August 26, at locations TBA, KOSI personalities and employees from Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children will distribute thousands of teddy bears to area first responders (Police, Fire, EMS) to use to comfort children who have been involved in traumatizing situations.
Bob Call, VP/Market Manager for Bonneville Denver, commented, “Sometimes a small act of kindness can have a big impact. We look forward to joining our amazingly generous listeners in this new way of giving back to our community.” Maureen Tarrant, CEO of Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, added, “Providing teddy bears to these children is a great start in the recovery process. Thanks to our EMS and first responders for their hard work and dedication that make an impact every day.” A complete list of RMHC donation locations is available at kosi101.com.
