Portland Seeks Early-Riser!

Yesterday we told you Sarah Sullivan was preparing to leave her morning co-host spot on Saga Country WPOR/Portland, ME after a three-year run and was transferring to AC sister WZID/Manchester, NH to do traffic and contribute content to the station’s heritage morning show starring Neal White & Marga Bessette.

Sullivan’s last day at WPOR is tomorrow, and that means WPOR Brand Manager Mark Jennings is now actively seeking a successor. As Jennings explains to RAMP, “Portland is a fantastic place to live and work, this is a great company, and the right candidate joins a heritage morning host, Jon Shannon, on a legendary Country station!” [Ed. note: Portland has also become a major American foodie destination, which is awesome]. You heard the man — the position is posted on the WPOR website, and qualified candidates should also rush their best stuff to mjennings@portlandradiogroup.com. Saga’s Portland Radio Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
