Radio Face Breaks TV Barrier

With Taylor Swift having taken up temporary residence in Denver last week… you know… the trial and all… the attention of the Earth has been focused on the legal activities in the Mile High City. And into that breach steps the intrepid JJ Kincaid, morning co-host on iHeartMedia KPTT (95.7 The Party)/Denver, who, as an alleged “radio expert” was a guest on Erica Hill‘s HLN show last week to share some industry insight into what exactly defines a “meet-and-greet” and to discuss his past interview experiences with Taylor.

“I initially did a couple calls into the show last Thursday and HLN asked me if I would to a live shot from their setup at the courthouse Friday,” Kincaid tells RAMP. “We also talked about how an actual meet-and-greet works. Erica was under the impression that it was a longer experience that included a conversation with the artist — which we know at concert venues it never is. We also discussed my prior interviews and experiences with Taylor and how she’s basically every radio person’s favorite artist.” In conclusion, Kincaid said, “Listeners are excited to have Taylor here in Denver, but they honestly wish it was under more positive circumstances.”
