ACM Welcomes Three New Pros
• The Academy of Country Music® (ACM) announced three new hires: Rory Levine joins as Vice President, Digital Strategy & Engagement; Haley Montgomery joins as Manager, Awards & Membership; and David Sassano joins as Executive Assistant to ACM CEO Damon Whiteside.
Rory Levine (left) most recently led all consumer recruitment and registration efforts for The Atlantic’s events business. Prior to that, he served as VP of Marketing and Audience Engagement at CMT and ran marketing and communications at BBC America. Over the last year, he has worked as a marketing and brand strategy consultant for the Grand Ole Opry, Blake Shelton‘s Ole Red restaurants, and public-private partnership state organization Launch Tennessee. Haley Montgomery (center) previously worked for Opry Entertainment Group as Manager for the Artist & Label Relations team. She also spent three years with the strategic partnership team at the Country Music Association (CMA). Montgomery also owned all industry-facing events for the department which included CMA’s annual Brand Marketing Summit, CMA’s presence at the Licensing Expo in Vegas, and PartnerSips. David Sassano (right) previously spent 14 years at Warner Music Group as Director of Operations & Administration. His first 10 years were with WEA in New York and the past four years at Warner Music Nashville. Sassano reports directly to Damon Whiteside and can be reached at david.sassano@acmcountry.com.
