• Syndicated morning heartthrobs Johnjay Van Es and Rich Berra realized a lifelong dream yesterday when they were inducted into the Arizona Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame! Selected for their outstanding contributions to broadcast journalism, Johnjay (left) and Rich (right, holding their major glass award) joined their fellow 2018 inductees Art Brooks, JD Freeman and Donna Rossi during the ceremony, which was held at the fairly swanky Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, AZ.
Entertaining Arizonans since 2001, The Johnjay & Rich Show debuted at KRQQ/Tucson and was an instant success. In 2006 the show moved to its current flagship, KZZP (104.7 Kiss FM)/Phoenix, and is now syndicated by Premiere Networks to 20 markets across this great land.
In 2010, Johnjay and Rich founded the Johnjay and Rich Cares for Kids Foundation, offering assistance to disadvantaged, at-risk children. The foundation’s annual Christmas Wish program provides thousands of dollars-worth of gifts to deserving families during the holiday season. The guys continue their community work throughout the year with the Johnjay and Rich #LoveUp Foundation, a non-profit that strives to improve the quality of life for the most vulnerable children in our communities. #LoveUp’s sister foundation, #LovePup, hosts pet adoption and fundraising events.
