Handel To Host Radio HOF Ceremony
• The Museum of Broadcast Communications announced that Bill Handel, longtime morning host on iHeartMedia’s KFI 640/Los Angeles and host of nationally syndicated Handel On The Law will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the 2022 Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at Chicago’s Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel. Not the first rodeo for Handel, himself a 2017 inductee into the Radio Hall of Fame.
The induction ceremony and dinner will also feature messages prepared for the event by Ryan Seacrest, Donnie Simpson, Jim Kerr, Tom Joyner, Mike Francesa, Stephen A. Smith, Rick Cummings, Beth Bacall, and Charlie Cook.
The 2022 Radio Hall of Fame inductees are “Broadway” Bill Lee, Carol Miller, Chris “Mad Dog” Russo, Ellen K, Jeff Smulyan, Lon Helton, Marv Dyson, Suzyn Waldman, and Walt “Baby” Love. Skyview Networks is a participating sponsor of the sold-out event.
The Radio Hall of Fame was founded by the Emerson Radio Corporation in 1988, and the Museum of Broadcast Communications took over operations in 1991.
