Loftus Earns Entry Into PAB Hall Of Fame

During the event, more than 70 award winners will be recognized, PAB will present Television Broadcaster of the Year honors to Alex Holley and 2026 Radio Broadcaster of the Year to John Wilsbach, and television veteran Bernie Prazenica and longtime radio executive Jim Loftus (pictured) will be inducted into the PAB Hall of Fame.
“2026 is bringing another year of exceptional award and honorees for this year’s PAB broadcasting awards,” said Joe Conti, President of the PAB. “This annual event helps to give recognition to our members for their powerful and impactful work within Pennsylvania. We couldn’t be more excited to honor our 74 awardees, as well as our broadcaster of the year and hall of fame inductees. We are honored to continue this event highlighting the spectacular work within the broadcasting community in Pennsylvania.”
Jim Loftus retired as CEO of Times-Shamrock Communications last July, closing out a 50+ year broadcasting career that previously included a stint as Chief Operating Officer of Seven Mountains Media. Prior to joining Seven Mountains in Oct. 2018, Loftus was Pres. & CEO of WBEB/Philadelphia. He earlier spent a decade with CBS Radio Philadelphia as GM of Classic Hits WOGL and Director of Sales for the cluster. He also served as COO of Times-Shamrock from 1997-2005 and held management positions with Lin Broadcasting and Susquehanna.
