Musicians On Call To Honor Pollack, DeGraw
• iHeartMedia EVP of Global Music Marketing Alissa Pollack and multi-platinum recording artist Gavin DeGraw will be honored this month during A Night to Celebrate the Healing Power of Music, hosted by Musicians On Call, that awesome nonprofit organization that brings the healing power of live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities.
Pollack, who is also an MOC Board Member, and multi-platinum singer/songwriter DeGraw, a longtime MOC supporter, will be recognized on Wednesday, May 23 during a VIP reception at Madison Square Garden prior to Billy Joel‘s concert.
“In the 19 years that Musicians On Call has performed for patients in hospitals, Alissa and Gavin are easily two of our most dedicated and passionate supporters,” said Pete Griffin, President of Musicians On Call. “Alissa’s talents have been invaluable to our Board and her passion for our mission led to the creation of the Musicians On Call Jason Pollack Bedside Performance Program, which has brought joy to thousands of patients nationwide. Gavin has been a loyal volunteer in our hospital programs and at our events across the country for over a decade, helping us launch our programs at City of Hope in L.A. and The Brooklyn Hospital in New York. They are both incredible champions for our cause and it is our honor to recognize their unwavering support.”
