‘Tis The Season To Help One Of Our Own

We want to take a moment and direct your attention to the medical situation currently facing the family of radio legend Willie B — Willie’s wife Jamie is dealing with several serious health challenges, which are putting an undue financial strain on the family, prompting Willie to create a GoFundMe page.

“Jamie is the Light of my life, but that light has become dimmer with a health crisis, compounded by cutbacks in Medicare and a bout of unemployment,” Willie writes. “Suffering from three major conditions, her prescriptions alone are over $1,500 a month. She’s a fighter and with her family by her side, we’re gonna beat it! However, the financial strain is now taking a toll almost as bad as her diseases. We’ve never asked for charity and no doubt, everyone has their own suffering to bear. But this is real, it’s happening now and this is the fight of our lives. We need help… help that we will assuredly ‘Pay Forward’ when she recovers!”

Willie is appealing to his many industry colleagues to kindly donate whatever they can to help ease the family’s financial burden caused by the expenses connected to Jamie’s medication, insurance co-pays, and miscellaneous living expenses.
