New Year’s Eve Scheduled To Rock
The busily titled Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2017 marks its 45th anniversary this year with expanded coverage from New Orleans in the show’s first-ever Central Time Zone countdown. The live segments will include exclusive performances from the Allstate® Fan Fest and interviews leading up to the midnight countdown and fleur-de-lis drop near Jackson Square to ring in the New Year. “New Orleans is a great match for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2017,” said Mayor Mitch Landrieu. “We know how to celebrate, and we offer the world one of the most authentic cultural experiences anywhere! We are proud to help our country bring in the New Year.”
America’s Ryan Seacrest™ will lead the traditional countdown to midnight live from Times Square along with Jenny McCarthy, while Fergie returns to host and perform at the Billboard Hollywood Party in Los Angeles, which features Niall Horan, Lukas Graham, Shawn Mendes, Emeli Sandé and Fifth Harmony featuring Kid Ink & Ty Dolla $ign.
As was previously announced, Mariah Carey, DNCE, Thomas Rhett and Gloria Estefan with the cast of her Broadway musical, On Your Feet! will perform for over one million fans live in Times Square and millions more on TV.
