WFMS/Indianpolis Back In Studio
• It’s been two months and change since that errant pick-up truck crashed into the studio housing Cumulus Country WFMS/Indianapolis. We are pleased to report that on Thursday morning, the CMA Award-nominated WFMS morning team of Jim, Deb & Kevin performed their first show in the newly rebuilt WFMS studio… and here is an actual photo to prove it. (l-r: that’s Kevin, Deb & Jim)
As OM Christopher “Boomer” Layfield tells RAMP, “The trio spent the past 60 days in a temporary set-up and are now at home in this newly renovated and remodeled space. Our rock station, WNDX (93-9X), will take ownership of what was the previous WFMS studio when its rebuild is complete in the weeks ahead.”
• And while we’re still on the subject… Boomer adds, “The search for our next WFMS midday host & Digital Content Coordinator for the cluster is nearing completion. As we unfortunately continue to see folks lose their jobs in waves elsewhere, we look forward to welcoming another talented Country radio pro to our team here in Indy.”
Motivated candidates are urged to get in on this action before the final decision is made. Apply online today via the Cumulus Jobs portal. EOE.
