Chessare To Run Townsquare Princeton
• Veteran radio executive Steve Chessare has joined Townsquare Media in the newly created position of Market President & Chief Revenue Officer for the company’s Princeton, NJ properties: heritage Top 40 WPST, Inspirational WCHR 1040 and Fox Sports affiliate WNJE-AM (920 The Jersey).
Chessare was most recently President/CEO of Coxswain Communications, LLC. Before that he was VP/Market Manager of Cumulus Media AC WEBE 108 and News-Talk WICC-AM/Bridgeport, CT.
Chessare’s three decades of radio management and sales experience includes a stint as VP/Market Manager for Greater Media Detroit. Prior to that, he was SVP of Sales for Westwood One, and he also served as GSM for WLTW/New York and VP/GM of CBS Radio Sales. Rob Williams, SVP, Local Media told RAMP, “We are excited to add Steve to our team!”
