Cumulus Names New Digital Guru
Cumulus Media has secured the services of veteran digital media exec Larry Linietsky, who joins the company’s digital team in the newly created corporate position of Vice President, Digital Operations and Business Development. In this new role, we are told that Linietsky “will lead and shape digital operations and business development, with a focus on developing, sourcing and monetizing digital products and services for Cumulus and Westwood One.” He will report to Suzanne Grimes, EVP, Corporate Marketing, Cumulus Media, and President of Westwood One.

Linietsky spent the past decade across the street with iHeartMedia as SVP, Business & Partner Development, where he helped create and launch the iHeartRadio app, led partner acquisition and affiliations to bring over 2,000 radio stations and thousands of podcasts into the platform, managed vendor relations and forged key partnerships in programmatic, data and streaming for the company.
