• iHeartMedia has promoted Tony Molaee to VP of Digital Programming and Operations for iHeartRadio. In this new role, Molaee will support the national digital programming team as well as continue to support iHeartRadio’s local New York City market as digital lead. That makes sense, seeing as how Molaee was most recently Digital Program Director for iHeartRadio NYC. He joined the company in 2007 as Sr. Digital Producer for the Philadelphia cluster and was brought into the New York team as Digital Operations Director in December 2013.

Molaee’s local experience and digital expertise will serve the overall organization by identifying what content will help continue to drive more traffic to iHeartRadio’s individual local radio station websites as well as nationally.

Connoisseur Media is seriously augmenting its digital operations — in what amounts to a homecoming for some of the original employees of Connoisseur’s first foray into digital, (which later merged into Driven Local), Robin Faller has been named Vice President of Digital Sales and will now take charge of all of Connoisseur’s digital sales efforts throughout its 11 markets. “We are so excited to bolster our team and assets in this growing part of our business,” says Connoisseur CEO Jeffrey D. Warshaw. “Robin is uniquely qualified to lead the charge, with her experience as a radio market manager and then the head of sales of a major digital company. We will be putting her expertise to work in order to get the best possible results for our clients.”

Faller, who will be based at Connoisseur’s corporate office in Westport, CT, added, “I loved working with Jeff, Mike, David and the Connoisseur family. I can’t wait to help take Connoisseur’s digital efforts to… the next level™.” Connoisseur owns/operates 39 radio stations and dozens of digital properties in 11 markets, including Nassau-Suffolk NY, Bridgeport, CT, New Haven, CT, Hartford, CT, Stamford-Norwalk, CT, Trenton, NJ, Allentown, PA, Erie, PA, Wilkes Barre-Stroudsburg, PA, Billings, MT and Wichita, KS.
