Engineer Wanted: Reno Media Group
• Reno Media Group is seeking an experienced Broadcast Radio Engineer to support and maintain a six-station broadcast cluster (plus translators) serving the Reno-Tahoe market. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-station environment and takes pride in keeping stations on the air, compliant, and sounding great.
Qualifications: Three years prior radio broadcast engineering experience required • Strong working knowledge of RF systems, transmitters, antennas, and studio equipment • Familiarity with modern digital audio, automation systems, and IP networking • FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (or ability to obtain) preferred • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to transmitter sites • Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize across multiple stations • Experience with GatesAir FAX series FM transmitters, Wheatstone IP based consoles and RCS Nexgen Digital Automation preferred.
