• Max Media Hampton Roads, LLC has elevated Keith Barton from Director of Sales to VP/General Manager of the company’s five-station group in Norfolk-Virginia Beach — News-Talk WGH-AM, Country WGH-FM (Eagle 97), Top 40 WVHT (Hot 100.5), Classic Hits WVBW (92.9 The Wave), ESPN affiliate WVSP-FM. Barton succeeds company vet Dave Paulus, who exits.

In making the official announcement, Max Media President/COO John Trinder said, “Keith has worked at these stations for 20 years and we are proud to give him this well-deserved promotion. His contributions as Director of Sales for the last seven years are an indicator of the great things that we can expect from him as General Manager.”
