• Sun Broadcast Group proudly announced that Krystal Bridgers, the company’s Director of Network Sales, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse, Inc. (AVDA).

AVDA provides a community of hope through their state-certified domestic violence center that offers a comprehensive array of services for all victims of domestic violence including a 24 hour crisis hotline, emergency and transitional housing, advocacy, counseling and support to help them live violence-free and self-sufficient lives. AVDA also works throughout the community to educate and engage people of all ages in their commitment to prevent violence.

Bridgers, who began volunteering last year with AVDA, has been able to participate with help from Sun Broadcast Group’s volunteer program, which allows all employees to give 40 hours of their time yearly to their cause of choice during the workday. “I’m so thrilled to help AVDA in this new capacity,” said Bridgers. “The people are simply amazing and the mission is so important.” To learn how you or others can get involved, visit avdaonline.org.
