IBA Teams Up With Broadcast Depot
• The Independent Broadcasters Association (IBA) is excited to announce a new partnership with Broadcast Depot, one of the leading distributors in the broadcast and multimedia space. With over 20 years in the industry, Broadcast Depot brings a knowledgeable sales staff, a reliable service/parts department and a warehouse stocked with $1 million-plus in inventory, with deals exclusive to IBA members.
“Our goal is to provide a one-stop-shop for members of the IBA, where they can utilize Broadcast Depot as a resource for knowledge, service, planning and equipment acquisitions,” says Tim Jobe, U.S. Sales Manager for Broadcast Depot. “It has also proven beneficial for us and our clients to have a partnership with Balboa Capital where we can present financing options and jump the hurdles that usually slow projects and reaching goals.”
Ron Stone, President of the IBA said, “This was one of the most important partnerships we wanted to solidify for IBA members. Having an equipment provider that can respond quickly, provide industry leading prices, and provide our members with potential financing when needed was incredibly important… and we have found the perfect provider with Broadcast Depot. We look forward to this partnership growing as the membership grows.”
The IBA serves independent radio stations by providing means to drive revenue and achieve cost benefits from scale that cannot be achieved alone. With a membership of 1,500 independent stations nationwide, the IBA’s goal is to bring the stations together through one platform to create a network that allows the stations to participate in new revenue opportunities and create substantial discounts for members to improve their bottom lines. By providing an affordable broadcast distribution option to IBA member station employees, through the Broadcast Depot Partnership, IBA members can reduce the costs of their expenditures significantly and use the savings to build their business.
