MIW Board Welcomes Randi P’Pool
• Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW) has elevated marketing and PR pro Randi P’Pool to its Board of Directors. Ms. P’Pool, who previously served three years as a volunteer on the MIW PR committee succeeds longtime Board member and former National Spokeswoman, Denyse Mesnik, who rises to the MIW Advisory Council.
P’Pool is the Founder of P’Pool Media, a media marketing and public relations company. She began her radio career on a morning show in Yakima, WA before moving to Salt Lake City as a Promotions Director and on-air personality for nearly 10 years. P’Pool was later recruited by Alpha Media as Director of Marketing, and later elevated to Corporate VP of Marketing. In 2019, she joined Aptivada (now Audience) as Chief Marketing Officer, and in 2020 she launched P’Pool Media.
MIW Board President Ruth Presslaff said, “We are so lucky to have someone of Randi’s caliber join our Board. Randi has worked diligently on the PR Committee and has earned this Board seat. Knowing Randi, I suspect we’ll get a lot done and have a whole lot of fun doing it! That said, I will miss working side by side with my dear friend and now Advisory Council member Denyse Mesnik. She has given immeasurably to this organization and can’t be thanked enough.”

The MIW Advisory Council is comprised of Denyse Mesnik, President of The Mesnik Group; Kay Olin, Principal, Olin & Associates and former MIW National Spokeswoman; and Valerie Blackburn, VKB Media Consulting Principal. Both Corinne Baldassano and Erica Farber are founding members of the MIW organization.
