NAB Radio Board Election Results
• The NAB announced the results of the 2024 NAB Radio and Television Board of Directors elections. The two-year terms of the elected board members will begin in June 2024. Here are the results of the Radio Board elections in the Even-numbered districts. (New board members are specified; all other Board members have been re-elected).
Mary Menna, VP/Market Manager, Beasley Media Boston — District 2: New York & New Jersey (new board member) • Chris Forgy, President & CEO, Saga Communications — District 6: North & South Carolina (new board member) • Jerry “J” Chapman, President & majority owner, Woof Boom Radio — District 10: Indiana (new board member) • Jeanna Berge, President, Multi-Platform Group, iHeartMedia — District 14: Iowa & Wisconsin • Ben Downs, VP, Bryan Broadcasting — District 18: Southern Texas • Tim Swift, EVP, Strategy & Technology, Bonneville International — District 22: Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico & Utah • Leonard Wheeler, President, Mel Wheeler, Inc. — District 4: Delaware, D.C., Maryland & Virginia • Flynn Foster, President/Owner, Guaranty Media — District 8: Louisiana & Mississippi (new board member) • Erik Hellum, COO, Townsquare Media — District 12: Missouri & Kansas (new board member) • Andrew Sutor, EVP/General Counsel, Audacy — District 16: Colorado & Nebraska • Larry Patrick, Managing Partner, Legend Communications, LLC — District 20: Montana, Idaho, & Wyoming • Bob Proffitt, President and CEO, Alpha Media LLC — District 24: Southern California, Guam, Hawaii, American Samoa, & Northern Mariana Island.
Effective immediately, Jerry “J” Chapman will assume the District 10 (Indiana) board seat that had been held by Michael Hulvey of Neuhoff Media.
Starting in June 2024, Eddie Harrell, Jr., RVP/GM, Radio One Markets in Ohio, will be appointed to the designated seat held by Alfred Liggins of Urban One, Inc.
