Neuhoff Sale To Champaign Closed
• Back on Feb. 1, Neuhoff Family Limited Partnership, the parent company of Neuhoff Media-Decatur, LLC and Neuhoff Media-Danville, LLC announced the intention to sell the assets of its radio stations in Decatur and Danville, IL to Champaign Multimedia Group, part of an overall strategic decision on behalf of the Neuhoff family to exit the broadcast industry after nearly 70 years.
This week, the transaction officially closed, as the sale of WDAN-AM 1490, 102.1 WDNL-FM, 94.9 WRHK-FM, and FM translator W284DD (104.7)/Danville, IL, and 95.1 WDZQ-FM, WSOY-AM 1340, 102.9 WSOY-FM, WDZ-AM 1050, and FM translator W277DB (103.3)/Decatur, IL, and 105.5 WCZQ-FM/Monticello, IL to Champaign Multimedia Group, LLC was completed.
Champaign Multimedia Group, LLC, is an Illinois-based company headed by Larry Perrotto, and also owns stations in Champaign, IL. KALIL & CO., INC. was the exclusive broker for this transaction.
