New Adventures Await Bev Tilden
CCB Media announced yesterday that General Manager Beverly Tilden is stepping aside from her daily leadership role after a successful three-year run in the big chair. Managing Partner Greg Bone will move back into the day-to-day management of the Cape Cod-based media company that owns Hot AC WQRC (99-9 The Q), AC WOCN (Ocean 104.7), Country WKPE (Cape Country 104) and Classical WFCC. Bone remarked, “Bev has been an important contributor in helping us shape Cape Cod Broadcasting into CCB Media with four strong radio brands, CapeCod.com and a full-service Marketing Solutions Company serving local businesses on all their branding and marketing needs.” He added, “We thank Bev for her service. She is a brand expert with strong leadership skills and we will miss her day to day.
Tilden is best known and loved in the Boston-area radio community for her three decades as a marketing pro with Pyramid Broadcasting, ARS, AM/FM, Clear Channel and Entercom, working closely with WXKS (Kiss 108)/Boston and WKTU/New York. She later worked with Air America, Jimmy de Castro‘s The Content Factory, M2O Media, TunedUP Marketing and other companies. Before joining CCB Media in October 2013 Tilden operated a successful Cape Cod real estate firm.
“The CCB Media staff is like family and I’ll miss them,” said Tilden, who will continue her work on the United Way Board working with Cape & Islands United Way and CCB Media on their annual “Give Where You Live” campaign. “There are more than 30 talented individuals that operate as one smooth team and that shows in our results,” she said. “I’m so proud to have led this group and am confident that there are only good things to come for CCB Media going forward. It’s all about positivity!” Bev is now seeking her next successful industry challenge and can be reached for meaningful conversations at beverlytilden@comcast.net.
