O’Malley Returns To Charleston
• Paul O’Malley has been appointed as President & General Manager of Saga’s Charleston Radio Group in beautiful Charleston, SC.
O’Malley (left) is a 27+ year radio veteran who most recently served as Senior Vice President for Westwood One. He was also a Regional President for Citadel from 2003-2008, based in Charleston, so this move marks a welcome homecoming, as O’Malley said, “Returning to Charleston is a dream come true.” Saga CEO Ed Christian commented, “Paul’s world-class reputation and experience, coupled with his love for Charleston, made this a perfect fit for us and our outstanding team in Charleston.”
The Charleston Radio Group includes Top 40 WMXZ (Mix 95.9), Urban AC WXST (Star 99.7), WCKN (92.5 Kickin’ Country), Adult Hits WAVF (Chuck 101.7), Hip Hop 99.3 The Box (W257BQ) and Urban Gospel WSPO-AM (Heaven 1390/100.1).
