Zachary Assumes New Entercom Role

• UPDATED 1:19pm PT: RAMP has confirmed that Phil Zachary has stepped as SVP/Market Manager of Entercom’s Washington, DC cluster and has taken a corporate role working on special projects for Entercom. The company has initiated a search for his successor in Washington.

Zachary had taken over the top spot in DC in June 2018, replacing Steve Swenson, transferring from a similar position with Entercom Hartford. The move had marked a DC radio homecoming for Zachary, who previously ran the cluster from 1996-2002 for CBS Radio.

Zachary joined Entercom in October 2013 as SVP/Market Manager of the company’s Boston group. He previously spent 11 years with Curtis Media Group in Raleigh, NC as President/COO. Earlier in his career he was VP/Market Manager for HMW Communications and Voyager Communications.
