Stelbasky Joins AEG Live As SVP
• AEG Presents announced that Kelly Stelbasky is joining the company as Senior Vice President, Global Touring. The announcement came from Gary Gersh, AEG Presents’ President of Global Touring and Talent, who remarked, “The significant worldwide growth and expansion of AEG Presents these past few years has created the need for additional seasoned executives like Kelly. There is no person more suited to step into this position and nobody more qualified to help us build our artist development strategy and global touring plans for our artists.”
Stelbasky was most recently Vice President, U.S. Concerts for Live Nation, where she booked and operated stadium, arena and amphitheater concert tours in North America. “I’m thrilled to join Gary and the world-class team at AEG Presents, and I can’t wait to be a part of all the exciting things that are happening at the company,” said Stelbasky, who will be based in AEG Presents’ Los Angeles headquarters.
In 2018 the Billboard Live Music Awards honored Stelbasky with the Chip Hooper Award, presented to a young rising star working as an executive in artist representation, management, or concert promotion. This award was especially meaningful to Stelbasky, because prior to joining Live Nation in 2010, she worked alongside Chip Hooper, the Worldwide Head of Music, at Paradigm Talent Agency.
