WXTU & Michalik Mutually Recommit

• Nicole Michalik has put pen to several sheets of official-looking paper, thus, signing a multiyear renewal deal to continue hosting her popular afternoon drive show on Beasley Country WXTU (92.5 XTU)/Philadelphia.

While the ink was still drying, WXTU PD/midday talent Mark Razz said, “Nicole has immersed herself into the County music culture. She loves the music and has fun every time she’s on the microphone. Her love of Philly shines on the air and on her social media handles. I’m glad we have her signed to a new contract. I anticipate many productive years with on the brand that put Country music in Philadelphia.”

Michalik, a Philly native, joined WXTU in early 2019 after a run in middays across the street on former iHeartMedia Rhythmic AC WISX (Real 106.1). Her earlier radio stops, all in Pennsylvania, include WIOQ (Q102)/Philadelphia, WAEB (B104)/Allentown and WLAN/Lancaster, PA.

Michalik’s resume also includes her participation on the hit television show, The Biggest Loser, Off-Broadway in Gilbert Gottfried Presents: The Diet Show!, and as host of the Why Are You Following Me? podcast and video.
