iHeart Chicago Presents ‘312 Day’

• On Thursday, March 12, iHeartMedia’s Chicago cluster — Urban WGCI, Urban AC WVAZ (V103), AC WLIT (93.9 Lite FM), Country WEBG (BIG 95.5), Top 40 WKSC (103.5 Kiss FM) and WGRB-AM (Inspiration 1390) will hold “312 Day” — a day of giving back to the Chicagoland community.

Each station has selected one local community organization to highlight throughout the day (6am-8pm) and will be encouraging their listeners to lend their support through monetary donations and volunteer services. WGCI has selected Build Chicago; V103’s charity is Chicago Foundation for Women; Lite FM has chosen Girls on the Run; BIG 95.5 has selected the Chicago Food Depository; Kiss FM’s charity is Healthy Hood Chicago, and Inspiration 1390 has chosen the Beacon Light Ministries.

“‘312 Day’ is an opportunity for iHeartMedia Chicago to refocus onto Chicagoland charitable organizations,” said James Howard, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Chicago Region. “We are inspired by what these organizations are doing for our community and we look forward to shining a spotlight on their work.”
