Don’t Just Sit There… Bleed.
• Beasley’s WMMR/Philadelphia is proud to announce that the 18th Annual “I Bleed For Preston & Steve” Blood Drive, held on Friday, June 16, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, collected 1,169 blood donations to benefit individuals in need across the Delaware Valley.
This year’s blood collection surpassed last year’s total by 210 pints and marks the first time the event eclipsed 1,000 donations since those distant pre-pandemic days of 2019. In addition, 123 of this year’s participants were first-time blood donors.
The daylong live broadcast featured (naturally) the cast of The Preston & Steve Show, Pierre Robert, and Brent Porche. As a special value-added bonus, WMMR’s ironman, night jock Jacky Bam Bam stayed up all night into the morning to lend a helping hand with Preston and Steve.
