Happy Baby Birthday, Cassiday!
• Sending virtual hugs to Cassiday Proctor, multi-tasking air personality at Cumulus Kansas City — she does middays on Top 40 KCHZ (95.7 The Vibe) and afternoons across the hall on “Rockternative” KCJK (105.1 The X) — who just had a baby! Cassiday and her husband, Jerry welcomed daughter Logan into the world on Sunday, August 8. She was born at 7:54pm, weighing in at 6lb 7oz and spanning 19 1/4 inches in length.
“She wasn’t born live on the radio like my son was, LOL, but we are just as excited!” said Proctor, who famously delivered son Emmett, now 3 1/2, while on the air at Hubbard Adult Hits WARH (106.5 The Arch)/St. Louis. Proctor, a native of Stilwell, Kansas, returned home to KC nearly two years ago. Her previous stops include mornings on KAMX (Mix 94.7)/Austin, WNKS (Kiss 95.1)/Charlotte and WSTR (Star 94.1)/Atlanta. Oh, and Cassiday somehow found the time recently to fill in for Kristin Klingshirn for 12 weeks on the syndicated The Bert Show while Kristin was on maternity leave!
