The Eagle Inherits Edgefest

Edgefest 2017iHeartMedia Active Rock KEGL (97.1 The Eagle)/Dallas-Fort Worth announced the 25th anniversary edition of Edgefest, the annual show that used to belong to former Alternative clustermate KDGE (now AC Star 102.1). Edgefest 2017 is happening Saturday, April 1 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX. The double staged, daylong concert will feature an all-star lineup including Blink 182, The Offspring, 311, Chevelle, The Toadies, Naked and Famous, The Record Company, Goodbye June, Black Pistol Fire, Dreamers, Missio, Badflower and The Wrecks. This year’s show will also feature a special reunion of The Nixons, whose original members haven’t played together in over 15 years.

“This year’s Edgefest has one of the strongest lineups we’ve ever had, with a variety of established and rising star artists,” said Patrick Davis, Regional SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Dallas. “As a nod to the 25th anniversary of the show, we are pleased that several of these Edgefest alums are back to celebrate with us.”
