ALT + Astros = ALTstros
• iHeartMedia’s recently launched Alternative ALT 97.5 (KASE-HD2)/Austin announced a broadcast agreement with the Houston Astros to become the Astros’ official broadcast affiliate in Austin. The station will carry all regular season and postseason games for the 2018 MLB season, featuring play-by-play from Robert Ford and color commentary from Steve Sparks.
“The Astros welcome ALT 97.5 and iHeartMedia Austin into our growing radio network,” said Anita Sehgal, SVP of Marketing and Communications for the Houston Astros. “We are proud to make Astros games available to even more fans throughout Texas, and especially in Austin, as we gear up for the 2018 season.”
