• Cox Media Group Alternative WSUN (97X)/Tampa is making final preparations for this weekend’s big 97X Next Big Thing, presented by Clean Earth Systems. The two-day all-ages event rolls tomorrow, December 2 and Sunday, December 3 at the Mid Florida Credit Union Amphitheater in Tampa. The Lumineers and Paramore will headline the festival, which will also feature performances by Walk The Moon, X Ambassadors, Vance Joy, Portugal. The Man, Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness, Saint Motel, Joywave, Magic Giant, Misterwives, The Aces, Bleachers, Barns Courtney, Mondo Cozmo, Arkells and Vinyl Theatre.

“Our 17th Next Big Thing will be our biggest undertaking yet as we expand this iconic music and lifestyle concert festival to two days,” said Dan Connelly, Director of Events and Producer of Next Big Thing. “The event will make Tampa Bay the center of the music universe this weekend.” Two-Day tickets start at only $50.
