Classic Hip Hop Arrives In Jackson

• Flinn Broadcasting has established a beachhead in Jackson, Mississippi with the launch of Classic Hip Hop WJXN (Hot 100.9). The station, which had been dark for the past two months, was a former Classic Country outlet under the care of New South Radio, which had operated the station under an LMA with Flinn Broadcasting, the owner of the station.

Moments after launch, OM Chris Taylor commented, “Jackson is a great city and we are excited to bring this format to the market.” The company will soon begin the process of hiring sale people, an air staff and street team.
