Remembering Beasley’s Jeff Anderson
Anderson, a native of Wichita, KS, arrived in Las Vegas in the late ’80s and originality worked at KKLZ before moving on to 107.5 KFBI (now KXTE). He rejoined then Classic Rock KKLZ in 2006 as midday personality, and moved to nights and Production Director when the station transitioned to Classic Hits.
“I’ve known Jeff for nearly 20 years, working with him almost that entire time in radio at both CBS Radio and Beasley,” said Justin Chase, former OM/PD of KKLZ until 2013 and now Beasley Media Group Chief Content Officer. “In that time, I’ve come to greatly respect Jeff for his talent, professionalism and kindness. All of us here at Beasley are deeply saddened by his sudden passing and will miss him immensely.”
KKLZ PD/morning personality Mike O’Brian said, “Jeff Anderson was the consummate radio pro and could do it all. He was a great co-worker, an amazing friend to all and was always willing to go that extra mile. Jeff will truly be missed by everyone.” Jeff Anderson was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters’ Hall of Fame in 2008.
