Carew Comes Home To Baltimore’s Bay
• There is reason for celebration at Times-Shamrock Classic Rock WZBA (100.7 The Bay)/Baltimore, as GM Jefferson Ward and PD Steve Huber proudly announce the welcome return of Colleen Carew, this time as The Bay’s new morning personality, replacing Stash.
Ms. Carew certainly knows her way around the hallways of The Bay — she previously worked there from 2003-2017 — the last 11 years as midday personality. She left in Sept. 2017 for a brief stint as PD of Adams Radio Classic Rock WGBG (Big 98.5)/Salisbury-Ocean City, MD, but spent the better part of the past 2 1/2 years as PD/afternoon talent on Irie Radio Triple A WOCM (Ocean 98)/Ocean City, MD.
Huber remarked, “Colleen brings with her a knowledge and love of Classic Rock, a passion for all things Baltimore as well as tons of experience on these very airwaves. We are excited to have Colleen back on 100.7 The Bay.”
Carew commented, “Just like Jon Bon Jovi sings, ‘Who says you can’t go home?’ I’m so thrilled to get back to my 100.7 The Bay family and to be able to rock the mornings in Baltimore and beyond! Life is different, but Classic Rock is timeless. I’m ready to rise and shine and ROCK with our loyal listeners each weekday from 6-10am!”
Ward added, “Colleen’s talent, passion for music, love for radio, top-shelf professionalism, and long history with the station all make her a natural fit for our team. We welcome her back with open arms and a toast: Cheers!”
