Miami Legend Castronovo Inks Big New Deal
• iHeartMedia Classic Rock WBGG (Big 105.9)/Miami has signed a new long-term agreement with legendary South Florida morning host Paul Castronovo, extending his iconic top-rated morning show for another multi-year run.
“iHeart just signed me on for another five years. Either they really love me — or they lost a bet,” joked Castronovo. “Honestly, I’ve got the best job in South Florida. Every morning, I get to laugh with my friends — and they actually pay me for it! This new deal will mark 47 years of doing radio in South Florida, and that’s just wild.”
You heard the man — Castronovo is one of the longest-running radio personalities in South Florida, hosting morning shows at such legendary Miami stations as WSHE and WZTA before making Big 105.9 his home nearly 25 years ago — cementing his status as one of the region’s most enduring and recognizable voices.
