Bones Show Remembers Las Vegas
Yesterday, iHeartMedia’s The Bobby Bones Show dedicated the entire broadcast to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting with live, in-studio performances from prominent members of the Country music community. Under the theme of “Love > Hate,” Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Maren Morris, Dan + Shay, Chris Janson and LoCash visited the show’s Nashville studio to share words of encouragement and comfort those affected by the tragedy, and play inspirational music to help the healing process.
Listeners heard emotional, heartfelt performances of Bill Withers‘ “Lean On Me” by Keith Urban (pictured); Maren Morris performed “Dear Hate,” which will be available on iTunes this Friday; Dierks Bentley did “Here On Earth;” Chris Janson performed “Hang On;” Dan + Shay did a poignant cover of Tom Petty‘s “Free Fallin;'” Brothers Osborne sang “While You Still Can,” and LoCash sang “The Fighters.”
Bones also announced that all #PimpinJoy and limited-edition “Love > Hate” apparel will benefit the Las Vegas Victims Fund. To date, $50,000 has been raised. For more info or to make a purchase, please visit BobbyBones.com or theshopforward.com.
