Changes At WAMZ/Louisville

• UPDATE: Drivetime changes are afoot at iHeartMedia Country WAMZ/Louisville, and the action begins on the morning show, as APD/Corey & Amy co-host Corey Calhoun (right) announced on Monday that his last day at the station is this Friday, April 27, as he exits for a new opportunity TBA — although rumors are flying that he’s headed to Atlanta. At the same time, it was announced that Calhoun’s co-host Amy Nic (left) will be moving to afternoon drive, teaming up with PD Jay Cruze.

Calhoun joined WAMZ as APD/afternoon personality in March 2015, succeeding market legend Coyote Calhoun (no relation). He previously programmed Cumulus Top 40 WLTO (Hot 102)/Lexington, KY, andhis other stops include Atlanta, Ithaca, NY and Brunswick, GA. He was elevated to mornings a year later, teaming up with Amy Nic.

• Well, we called this one… to the shock and surprise of pretty much no one, WAMZ announced Wednesday that its picking up The Bobby Bones Show for mornings, effective Monday, May 7. Bones, Amy, Lunchbox, Eddie and crew will air weekdays from 5-10am.
